STEPS TO APPLY
Step 1: Visit the Official Website
To start your application for the Consumer Credit Scheme, visit the official website at credicorp.ng. On the homepage, you will find a “Register Now” button. Clicking this button will direct you to a form where you need to provide your personal information.
You will be required to fill in the following:
- Your full name including first middle [if you have one] and last
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- Your date of birth
- Your gender which can be male or female
- Your state of residence
- Your state of origin
After completing these fields click “Proceed” to go to the next step.
Step 2: Provide Loan Application Details
In this part of the process you will specify why you need the loan. Fill in the following:
- The reason for your loan to explain what you will use the money for
- Your comfortable repayment amount to indicate how much you can afford to repay in six months
- Microfinance experience to state if you have borrowed from a microfinance bank before
- Previous loan amount if you have borrowed before state the highest amount you borrowed
- Your National Identity Number is also required
After you have provided this information click “Proceed.”
Step 3: Enter Your Employment Details
Now you need to give some details about your employment:
- Years of experience to state how long you have been in your current job
- Monthly income to indicate how much you earn each month before taxes
- Salary bank to name the bank where you get your salary
- Loan destination bank to specify which bank account you want to receive the loan in
Once you fill in these details click “Proceed.”
Step 4: Secondary Employment Details (Optional)
If you have a second job you can provide details here:
- State if you have a secondary job with a simple Yes or No
- If yes give details about your side job including years of experience monthly earnings and the bank where you receive this income
Step 5: Complete Face Capture
The final step in your application is to complete a face capture. This step finalizes your registration process.
