General Requirements

To be eligible for recruitment into the Federal Task Force, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Citizenship: Candidates must be Nigerian citizens either by birth or descent.
  • Age: Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old.
  • Height: Male candidates must be at least 1.7 meters tall, while female candidates must be at least 1.64 meters tall.
  • Chest Measurement: Candidates must have a fully expanded chest measurement of at least 0.87 meters.
  • Physical and Mental Fitness: Applicants must be certified by a Government Medical Officer as physically and mentally fit for appointment into the Service.
  • Health: Candidates should not suffer from any form of mental or physical disability.

B:

  • National Diploma (ND) obtained from a recognized institution.
  • A National Certificate of Education (NCE) from a recognized institution; or
  • General Certificate of Education (Advance Level) in two (2) subjects obtained at one sitting or three (3) subjects obtained at two sittings.
